Kitchen Remodel 3
Foothills East Kitchen Remodel
An upgraded kitchen resulting in a dramatic before and after. The former kitchen was separated by two walls from the living/dining areas, our goal was to remove the walls without using posts – which we were able to do. The kitchen cabinet layout remained, but we added two raised bars at the former wall locations, and added new pendant lighting.

After - the former cabinets and counter tops all remained in place, as well as the appliance locations. The former cabinets were resurfaced, refinished, and new hardware was installed. Before, only partially open to the living/dining area.

After - looking into the kitchen. We designed a raised bar around the former wall footprint as to not affect the existing hardwood flooring. Before - the former layout made it very difficult to entertain. Note door to the right is also oak, which we refinished to harmonize to the new cabinet finish.
This is another great example of the “face-lift” Kitchen remodel that maximizes the use of existing materials, makes modest structural changes, and with the clients’ excellent finishes choices, creates an entirely new-feeling space while staying within the desired budget.
